2012-2013 Course Offerings
Courses for Developing and Improving Online Teaching Strategies and Promising Practices: OTA 121
This fully online professional development course is designed to help K-12 teachers develop and demonstrate instructional proficiencies required for supporting effective online learning. Participants will develop and improve online teaching strategies, pedagogy, and promising practices.
This course meets the WI DPI guidelines for the 30-hour professional development requirement for online teaching, Wisconsin State Statute 118.19 (13).

Planning and Administering Digital Education Programs
Course 1 (621): Design and Development
This course explores content, pedagogy, management and effective deployment strategies specific to the new or current implementation of digital instruction in an asynchronous or blended (combination of asynchronous and synchronous with potentially some face to face instruction) environment. The Planning and Administering Digital Education Programs courses (I & II) are two sequenced, three-week, online courses that will enable K-12 educational leaders and school administrators to attain the knowledge and skills needed to be effective leaders of digital educational programs.
